Content

This workshop will expose you to a combination of readings, discussions, and hands-on exercises aimed at cementing your understand ing of, and ability to conduct qualitative research - especially gathering, analyzing, and theorizing different types of qualitative data. Ahead of the workshop, you will be required to complete several pre-readings, which will provide us a common language for conversation and reflection. In addition, during the workshop, besides engaging in discussion, you will conduct observations, interviews, and analyze data that  you will gather.  Should you be working  on, or planning  for a qualitative  project, you will also have the opportunity  to present it and to gain feedback  from both the instructor as well as other  workshop participants. By the end of this three-day  workshop, you should feel more comfortable  with conducting,  and building theory from qualitative research. I look forward to meeting you, and working with you to refine your knowledge and skills as a qualitative researcher!
