Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, the student must be able to:
- Design and deliver a well-structured presentation suitable for an academic context
- Integrate relevant and effective gestures and visual aids into presentations
- Use appropriate pronunciation techniques for pausing, stress and intonation
- Integrate strategies for asking and answering questions competently and efficiently
- Assess / Evaluate own presentation skills and provide others with constructive feedback
- Construct and apply appropriate academic vocabulary
- Respond and express ideas and opinions, participate in academic discussions
