Summary
The workshop deals with the architectural form from the point of view of housing as a storage system. An opportunity to question in a critical way the place of housing in the capitalist world. But also to imagine the conditions of a socially engaged and utilitarian architecture.
Content
Le studio s'inscrit dans un cycle initié au premier semestre autour de la thématique du stockage. Pour ce semestre nous explorerons la question du logement et de son analogie aux systèmes de stockage. Le site de projet se situera sur la commune de Riace, connue pour son engagement en faveur des réfugiés. Nous nous intéresserons à des ruines contemporaines d'un projet immobilier et de la possibilité de les insérer dans une réflexion sur la reconversion en logement d'urgence. en parallèle nous étudierons l'architecture de Naples et plus particulièrement les projets de Ferdinando Fuga.

Teaching methods
design reviews as well as general theoretical classes will be given inside the studio by the teaching team.
Teaching will occur in french. individual review can be in english.
Expected student activities
Thorough work is expected throughout the semester. You will need to be proactive to develop your design and researchbased on the feedback provided by the teaching team.
Assessment methods
Assessment will be based on the final result of the semester that will be presented to a jury. Nevertheless, methodology and implication during the semester will also be considered.
