Content
The Winter School took place over two days in Emmetten Swizterland. All of the current PhD students in the JDPLS program attended, as did most of the current thesis directors. Each of the students prepared a 30-minute presentation of their current research before the Winter school, and then gave the presentation to the full group of students and thesis directors. Following each presentation, the audience raised questions and provided feedback. On each day there were breakout discussions where students could continue discussing their work. Two keynote speakers from outside Switzerland were invited to present their work.
