Summary
Engineering internship in a field related to Financial Engineering.
Content
The engineering internship allows students to put into practice the knowledge they acquired during the MFE master cycle; to immerse themselves into the professional environment of a company by learning its processes and requirements; and to realize the importance of team work.
The industrial internship lasts at least 8 weeks and is followed by a 17-week academic master project
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, the student must be able to:
- Apply scientific, technical and organizational knowledge as appropriate to the context
Transversal skills
- Set objectives and design an action plan to reach those objectives.
- Use a work methodology appropriate to the task.
- Communicate effectively, being understood, including across different languages and cultures.
- Evaluate one's own performance in the team, receive and respond appropriately to feedback.
- Respect the rules of the institution in which you are working.
- Manage priorities.
- Take feedback (critique) and respond in an appropriate manner.
Assessment methods
Evaluation report to be filled out by the student and the company supervisor at the end of the internship.
