Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course, the student must be able to:

• Design and deliver a well-structured presentation suitable for an academic context
• Integrate relevant and effective gestures and visual aids into presentations
• Use appropriate pronunciation techniques for pausing, stress and intonation
• Integrate strategies for asking and answering questions competently and efficiently
• Assess / Evaluate own presentation skills and provide others with constructive feedback
• Construct and apply appropriate academic vocabulary
• Respond and express ideas and opinions, participate in academic discussions
