Summary

A series of seminars on selected current and emerging topics in Microengineering will be presented by distinguished lecturers.

Content

The Distinguished Lecture Series will take place according to the program indicated at the following link : http://sti.epfl.ch/distinguishedlecture


Approximately 10 Lectures are scheduled per calendar year.


The students are required to attend the lectures and to independently perform bibliographic research on the research topics presented by the lecturers.

An individual examination will be conducted at the end of the Lecture Series. The oral examination will be performed by 2 of the instructors. Each student will be asked questions about the research topics presented by the lecturers, including selected research papers. The duration of the examination is 20 - 30 minutes per student.
