Remarque

The main focus of course is on design of circuits and architectures for data converter systems

Summary

The main focus of this work is on analysis and design of data converter circuits. Data converters are key building blocks in almost all modern products and have a very wide application in automotive industry, watches, mobile phones, computing systems, sensor network, biomedical system, etc.

Content

  1. Introduction (descriptoin, applications, demands, general perspective)
  2. Algorithms to convert analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog signals
  3. Analog-to-digital converter topology, first example, description, analysis, assessment
  4. Digital-to-analog converter topology, first example, description, analysis, assessment
  5. CMOS device modeling and performance (speed, noise, gain, etc)
  6. Overview on different ADC architectures
  7. Overview on different DAC architectures
  8. Critical circuit building blocks (comparators, samplers, amplifiers, etc)
  9. Auxiliary circuits (reference circuits)

Keywords

  1. Information technology
  2. Integrated circuit system design
  3. analog to digital converter
