1. A comparison of the most relevant metal ions in biological systems.2. The function and mechanism of enzymes that contain transition metal complexes in their active center.3. Transition metal complexes for the transport and storage of oxygen and electrons.4. The role of alkali- and earth alkaline metal ions in biological systems.5. Inorganic materials in biological systems (Biomineralization).6. Metal complexes in medicine.7. Toxicology of transition metals.
